Daily Care
Use coasters and placemats
Protect the surface from rings, heat and scratches during everyday use.
Wipe spills promptly
Acidic liquids like wine, coffee or citrus can etch the surface if left to sit.
Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner
A soft cloth with warm water and a pH-neutral cleaner is safe for daily cleaning.
Protect floors when moving items nearby
Use felt pads or protective sheeting to avoid scuffing floors under and around furniture.
Use professional movers
Natural stone is heavy — arrange suitable assistance or professional movers when repositioning a piece.
Follow sealing recommendations, where applicable
Some finishes benefit from periodic resealing. We'll note if this applies to your piece.
What to Avoid
- Acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon-based products, descalers)
- Abrasive cleaners, scouring pads or powders
- Sitting or standing on furniture
- Dragging furniture across floors
Natural stone is porous and can etch or stain if exposed to acidic or abrasive substances. This is a characteristic of the material, not a manufacturing defect.
