Shipping, Taxes & Logistics

Global delivery, duties, and lead times from our atelier.

For customers in the EU, UK, Norway, Switzerland & Türkiye: Yes. All prices include VAT and insured DDP kerbside shipping. The price you see is the final price delivered to the nearest safe, vehicle-accessible point outside your address.

For all other destinations: A flat international shipping fee is shown at checkout. VAT, customs duties, import taxes and local clearance charges are not included unless explicitly stated.
We ship internationally to supported destinations shown at checkout, including the USA, UK, UAE, Canada, and European countries. We handle export documentation, and our logistics partners ensure safe transit for heavy stone furniture.
We provide insured DDP kerbside delivery via premium freight partners. The crate will be unloaded at the nearest safe, vehicle-accessible point outside the property. Due to the weight of natural-stone furniture, drivers cannot enter private residences or carry items upstairs. The customer is responsible for arranging suitable assistance, professional movers or lifting equipment — requirements vary significantly by product weight and site access, so please contact us beforehand if you have stairs, narrow entrances or restricted parking.
Our standard production time is 4-6 weeks for made-to-order pieces, including custom dining tables and bathroom sinks. Shipping transit then varies by destination: around 1-2 weeks by road freight to Europe and the UK, and longer for overseas destinations by sea or air, which we quote on request.
Please inspect the packaging and item as soon as reasonably possible after delivery. If you notice visible damage, submit a damage report or email info@dlastone.com within 48 hours where possible — prompt reporting helps us investigate with the carrier and insurer. Reporting after 48 hours does not automatically remove your statutory rights. See our full damage reporting guide for what to include.
No. Standard delivery is kerbside only. The packaged item is delivered to the nearest safe, vehicle-accessible point outside the property. The customer must arrange suitable assistance or professional movers to take it inside.
The packaged item is delivered to the nearest safe, vehicle-accessible point outside your property — at the kerb, driveway entrance or another safe unloading point. It does not include carrying the item inside, upstairs, unpacking, assembly or specialist lifting. See our full delivery guide for details.
DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) means DLA Stone handles export clearance, import customs clearance, and import duties and taxes for supported destinations. It does not cover inside delivery, unpacking or installation, which remain the customer's responsibility.
Yes, for destinations enabled for DDP delivery. DLA Stone handles export clearance, customs duties and import taxes. This does not include inside delivery, installation or specialist lifting.
This depends on the product's dimensions and weight. Do not attempt to lift heavy natural-stone furniture without appropriate assistance. Professional movers or lifting equipment may be required for larger or heavier pieces — please contact us beforehand if you're unsure what your order will need.

Ordering & Customisation

Made-to-order pieces, sizing, cancellations and returns.

Yes. Every piece is made to order in our atelier in Türkiye once you place your order, using the stone, size and finish you select. Production typically takes 4-6 weeks depending on the product.
Most products offer a choice of standard sizes on the product page, and many can be made to a custom dimension. Look for the size options on each product page, or submit a bespoke request for a fully custom size.
Honed (Matte): a satin, low-sheen surface. Best for dining tables and high-traffic areas — it hides light scratches and etching well.
Polished (Glossy): a reflective, high-sheen surface that enhances colour depth. Ideal for statement pieces and sinks.
Not exactly — natural stone is a product of the earth, and veining, tone and movement vary from slab to slab. Product photography is representative of the stone type, not a guarantee of the exact pattern. For bespoke orders, we provide photos of the specific slab for your approval before fabrication.
Contact us immediately if you wish to cancel. If production has not begun and customer-specific materials haven't been ordered, cut, allocated or committed, we may be able to cancel the order. Once production has begun or materials have been committed, a personalised order cannot normally be cancelled for a change of mind. This does not affect your statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods. See our full cancellation policy.
Because bespoke and made-to-order pieces are produced specifically for you, all sales are final once production has begun, except where the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to your order — your statutory rights are unaffected. See our full returns policy.
Yes. We regularly supply designers, architects, developers and trade partners with finished furniture, raw slabs and custom project work. Visit our Trade & Projects page or contact our trade team to get started.

Product Care & Maintenance

Preserving the beauty of natural stone forever.

Use coasters, placemats and trivets; wipe spills promptly; clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid acidic or abrasive products; don't sit, stand or drag furniture across floors; and use professional movers for heavy pieces. See our full Product Care guide for details. Following this guidance helps your piece age well, but natural stone is not stain-proof, scratch-proof or maintenance-free — and not following it doesn't affect your statutory rights.
Natural stone is porous. We treat every piece with a high-grade penetrating sealant before shipping, but this reduces rather than eliminates the risk of staining. Acidic substances (lemon, wine, vinegar) can cause 'etching'. We recommend using coasters and wiping spills immediately.
Yes, particularly Travertine. Polished marble will naturally hone over time outdoors. We can apply a UV-resistant outdoor sealer upon request. Contact us for outdoor projects.
Clean with warm water and a soft microfiber cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a pH-neutral cleaner. Never use Windex, bleach, or vinegar.
